This workshop will include a guided tour of the beloved exhibition Common Ground: The Heart of Community, slated to close permanently in January 2025. Following the tour, learn strategies for engaging students in the primary source artifacts, images, and documents found in JANM’s vast collection and discover classroom-ready resources to support teaching and learning about the Japanese American experience.

President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China paid a state visit to the Russian Federation from March 26-28, 2007 at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation. The two presidents held official talks in Moscow and attended the opening ceremonies of the Year of China in Russia and the Chinese National Exhibition in Russia.

Los Angeles, CA (May 11, 2007) - Steven Spielberg has released the text of a private letter he had sent to the President of China, Hu Jintao, condemning the genocide in Darfur and asking the Chinese government to use its influence in the region to bring an end to the suffering there. Additionally, he is asking for a meeting in Beijing with the Chinese President within the next 30 days.
