This site allows students to explore important stops on the Silk Road, starting in Constantinople and working east towards China. Each stop provides some photos of the area, as well as a summary of the location. I think this would work great as a creative journalling project where students pick their route and write about some of the sites, cultures, or cities they visit as they travel.

Interactive Silk Road Tour
This is an interactive way to exlplore the route along the Silk Road. It gives students a real life look into what it was like and the places that were encountered along the way. Thank you for the idea, I will definitely be using it.
