Densho.org. Model Minority Myths: Can stereotypes ever be good? (No!)

Densho is a Japanese term meaning “to pass on to the next generation,” or to leave a legacy. Densho.org is dedicated to “Preserving stories of the past for the generations of tomorrow."

Densho.org released this teaching material 12/15/2021. There is a video, an historical timeline, class discussion questions, classroom activities, and an excellent set of references for additional research.

Trigger warning. This lesson will upset some people because it deals with stereotypes. Use with caution.
