Nixon in China

Here is something different:
The OPERA (yes, it is music) Nixon in China by John Adams premiered in October 1987 and deals with this important event from 1972.
There are excerpt posted on utube. Please check it out. All the major participants of the actual event are realistic characters in the opera, except for Kissinger.
