This film was absolutely amazing. Really! It was a very good murder mystery and very thrilling too. Love the lead female investigator character. I appreciate this film because now I have another point of view of the relationship between the United States and another country. That picture of all four friends at the end made me want to cry. It's so sad when war and politics get in the way of friendship and love.
The way I'd use this film in the classroom would be to tie it into the theme of friendship and loyalty. I'd use it along with the study of Julius Ceasar. I'd focus on the part of the film which shows the four friends playing and having fun together, yet they have their boundaries when it comes to the loyalty of their country and or their country's beliefs.
