Film for Middle School Students

Can anyone suggest a film for viewing for Middle School students. Our group would like to show a film in January that will be free for students to attend a Friday evening. Of course it must be rated PG and must include all the restrictions that a school environment requests. Thanks much in advance for any suggestion.

No specific genre, it should be entertaining for both students and families and PG rated. It does not have to be educational at all......it's family fun film night out at Obama. Thanks much for you suggestions in advance.

Mulan 1 not Mulan 2.

Here is the reason:
1. It is clean. It is animation. The film is very well researched, except the breakfast with bacon. (I never had bacon for breakfast anywhere in China, seriously. I still don't it for breakfast. )
2. It is based on historical event and characters. Mulan is real.
3. Post film discussion could be very rich. Have students compare the role of women in ancient China and today's US, has things changed? I leave that it to you.
4. Go to any local library, Mulan is there for you. No cost, what's not to like.

thanks, I will view it. Good to know that it is well researched. I did get some additional input from Professor Lippit on Saturday, I think some of the films on his film list would be great, if I can find them.
