Attitude and Chinese Philosophies

Here is my lesson unit. It was very helpful to my students, the culminating projects were great and students who thought they knew each other well had some surprises at the end!

First of all, I love the 5 day Prompts you have chosen and the inclusion of the Powerpoints and the Netflix movies make it highly interesting to not only your students but me as well! I would recommend you add a quick section at the bottem of the Lesson Plan (if you have not already sent it in) describing how you will modify for ELL students, RSP students and Gifted students. I know they always asked me for that section when I was preparing the 7 step Lesson Plans. I also wonder what subject is this for? English? Are you tying in the concept of how "attidude relates to career success" by way of Chinese Philosophiphies? Also, I just am interested in finding out what is the textbook Slight Edge Book about?

I see how you differentiate for Special needs or GATE students since the assessments include a choice of drawing or writing. However, a student model or a rubric might help the students with self evaluation.

Interesting lesson. What grade level is the class? What do you do if a student does not have an exit ticket? Is there a specific format the class presentation must be done in? I would suggest providing a few different options. For example: a powerpoint, a video, museum display, etc.

Thanks, for the feedback. Next time I teach it, I'll make sure to include a rubric.
