Memory, Moment, and Mobility in East Asia: East Asian Languages and Cultures Graduate Student Conference is the first East Asian Studies Graduate Student Conference hosted by the G-SEA (Graduates Studying East Asia) organization at the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern California April 11th and 12th, 2015.

We provide an interdisciplinary forum for graduate students to exchange ideas and discuss current research on East Asia. Co-sponsored by the East Asian Studies Center, the Center for Japanese Religions and Culture, the Korean Studies Institute, the Bryan Singer Division of Critical Studies, and the Center for Transpacific Studies, the conference allows young scholars to present their research to both their peers and eminent scholars who work on East Asian Studies throughout Southern California. We also create a forum for meeting and engaging in an exchange of ideas, introducing participants to others in their field conducting similar research.

All panels are moderated by University of Southern California faculty and a member of the G-Sea organization.
Cost:
Open to the public
