Where the Truth Lies: The Art of Qui Ying - Lecture by Dr. Stephen Little
Dr. Little will give a public lecture on the show and he will also work with students on the topic of forgery and connoisseurship in Chinese painting.

Please join us for a special lecture by Dr. Stephen Little, chief curator of a major exhibition at LACMA on the sixteenth-century Chinese painter Qiu Ying. The exhibition is titled "Where the Truth Lies: The Art of Qui Ying" which will open at LACMA in February 2020.
Dr. Little will give a public lecture on the show and he will also work with students from Professor Sonya Lee's AHIS 488 on the topic of forgery and connoisseurship in Chinese painting.
Stephen Little is the Florence and Harry Sloan Curator of Chinese Art; Head, Chinese, Korean, and South & Southeast Asian Depts., LACMA
The lecture is co-sponsored by the USC East Asian Studies Center and Department of Art History.
