In conjunction with the exhibition Masterpieces of Landscape Painting from the Forbidden City, the museum's Doris Duke Theatre presents this series of some of the most influential films by Chinese filmmakers and about Chinese culture. In the lineup: Eat, Drink, Man Woman; Charlie Chan: The Untold Story of the Honorable Detective and His Rendezvous with American History; Raise the Red Lantern; The Story of Qui Ju; Chungking Express; King of Masks; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; The Wedding Banquet and The Joy Luck Club.
