On September 29, 2024, the USC U.S.-China Institute hosted a workshop at the Huntington’s Chinese garden, offering K-12 educators hands-on insights into using the garden as a teaching tool. With expert presentations, a guided tour, and new resources, the event explored how Chinese gardens' rich history and cultural significance can be integrated into classrooms. California State University at Northridge is hosting a a reception in honor of visiting faculty and students from Shanghai Normal University.
AC300 is in the Art Design Center along Halsted St. between Etiwanda and Lindley. Closest parking lots are Faculty Lot D6 and Student Lot E6. Members of the community may be able to find some street parking in the nearby residential area or purchase campus parking at the parking decal machines or the Information Boothe in the corner of Darby and Prairie.
The event will take place on October 5, 2010 from 5pm to 7pm.
