A remarkable opportunity to converse with the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United States with special introduction by Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke (schedule permitting). Prior to this appointment, Ambassador Zhang was Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
As a graduate of the Beijing Foreign Studies University with studies at the London School of Economics, and many years in high level government posts in China and abroad, Ambassador Zhang will share his diplomatic and political insights in this up close and personal setting—not to be missed.
The funds raised by these dinners support Asia Society and its educational initiatives.
