Join award-winning author Daniel Skach-Mills as he reads from his latest book, The Beyond Within:The Downtown Dao of Lan Su Chinese Garden. Based on his service as a volunteer docent at Lan Su since 2005, The Beyond Within is a Daoist-inspired garden tour that combines Lan Su's five elements with five key Daoist principles.
The program will also feature a display of original illustrations created for the book by Lan Su docent Dan Lucas. Dan's artwork will be on display during the reading and Dan will be available following the reading for an opportunity to meet the artist. The Beyond Within: The Downtown Dao of Lan Su Chinese Garden is a wonderful artistic collaboration inspired by the beauty of Lan Su.
