The objects, selected by Richard Vinograd, Christensen Fund Professor in Asian Art, complement the undergraduate course From Shanghai Modern to Global Contemporary: Frontiers of Modern Chinese Art, which explores the complexities of Chinese artistic practice from the late 19th century to the present.
