On September 29, 2024, the USC U.S.-China Institute hosted a workshop at the Huntington’s Chinese garden, offering K-12 educators hands-on insights into using the garden as a teaching tool. Documenting the Global City Project, Beijing 2009 -- Little Monk 小和尚
USC film student Lulu Hansen participated in the 2008 effort in Los Angeles and also in the 2009 effort in Beijing. Her film focuses on Gong Wensheng, a Beijing fellow who has moved to a monastery to become a monk. His Dharma name is Tongci.
