Yale-China Fireside Chat with Dave Liang and Sean Leow

Dave Liang, Producer of The Shanghai Restoration Project and Sean Leow, Founder of NeochaEDGE will discuss Chinese Creative Culture and the Internet at Yale University.

The Internet is one of the primary drivers fueling the rise in Chinese creative culture over the past five years. Access to foreign inspiration, cheap / free digital tools and online collaboration promotion play a vital role for the new generation of Chinese creative professionals who are creating original visual and music content that fans and brands are starting to recognize around the world. Sean Leow and Dave Liang–two Asian Americans who have played a significant part in enabling Chinese creativity and its exposure internationally–will talk about the role of the Internet for Chinese creatives and what trends are leading creative youth culture in China today.
