Under the US-Taiwan Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF), the US and Taiwan jointly engage regional partners on a broad range of transnational issues. One key focus is gender equality and women's empowerment in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Panelists will discuss recent progress and prospects for further US-Taiwan cooperation on this issue and consider how it fits in with the global women's agenda.
