The Sigur Center for Asian Studies at The George Washington University and the Kissinger Institute on China and the United States at the Woodrow Wilson Center cordially invite you to attend a panel discussion on the Pentagon's AirSeaBattle Plan (ASB), a new system that will intensify the strategic atmosphere in the Pacific.

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Edward A. McCord, Director of the Sigur Center and Professor of International Affairs. 

Confirmed panelists include:

J. Stapleton Roy, former US Ambassador to China and Director of the Kissinger Institute at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars; 

T.X. Hammes, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University; 

Amitai Etzioni, Professor of International Affairs at The George Washington University.
