Mansfield Freeman Center for East Asian Studies is hosting a gallery that features many pieces of art from China.

Where
These exquisite paintings catch China as Europeans idealized it in the late nineteenth century: elegant home life, Qing imperial martial arts, acrobatics and gem-like paintings of fish, animals and birds. The delicacy and brilliance of the paintings is stunning, like a perfect dream of far-off Cathay.
The Center is closed on Mondays.
