This workshop will include a guided tour of the beloved exhibition Common Ground: The Heart of Community, slated to close permanently in January 2025. Following the tour, learn strategies for engaging students in the primary source artifacts, images, and documents found in JANM’s vast collection and discover classroom-ready resources to support teaching and learning about the Japanese American experience.

The aim of the Dialogue is to explore how Australia and the US are working as partners in the Asia-Pacific to ensure a prosperous and thriving Asian region. Asia’s rise is the defining feature of the 21st century. The pace of the political and economic ascent of the region is unparalleled and comes at a time when global partnerships have never been more important. By 2025, Asia will not only be the world’s largest producer of goods and services, it will also be home to the majority of the world’s middle class.
