Taiwan Roundtable: "Building Cross-strait Military CBMs - A Goal between Far and Near"

The Sigur Center for Asian Studies presents a discussion.

Bonnie Glaser is a senior adviser for Asia in the Freeman Chair in China Studies, where she works on issues related to Chinese foreign and security policy. She is concomitantly a senior associate with CSIS Pacific Forum and a consultant for the U.S. government on East Asia. Ms. Glaser received her B.A. in political science from Boston University and her M.A. with concentrations in international economics and Chinese studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Alan Romberg is the director of the East Asia program at the Stimson Center. Mr. Romberg spent twenty years serving as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer and has served in various capacities dealing with East Asia, including as a staff member at the National Security Council for China. He holds an M.A. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Da-Jung Li is an Associate Professor in the Graduate Institute of International Affairs and Strategic Studies at Tamkang University in Taiwan. He is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Sigur Center for Asian Studies at GW's Elliott School of International Affairs. His research interests include US-China relations, cross-strait relations, and United Nations interventions. Da-Jung Li received his Ph.D. in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
