The Weatherhead East Asian Institute will host a panel of Chinese poets including Bei Dao, Ouyang Jianghe, Xi Chuan, Zhai Yongming, Zhou Zan, and Contemporary Artist Xu Bing.

The panel will be moderated by Lydia H. Liu, The Wun Tsun Tam Professor in the Humanities, Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures, Columbia University and John Rajchman, Adjunct Professor, Department of Art History and Archaeology, Columbia University. It will be co-sponsored by the Confucius Institute, the Xu Bing Studio, the C.V. Starr East Asian Library, the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, Literary Translation at Columbia School fo the Arts, the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultuers, and the Department of Art History and Archaeology.
