SF Intl. Arts Festival: The Earplay Ensemble with Melody of China
The San Francisco Opera House presents Melodies of China.
Where
SFIAF’s longest running presenting partners feature world premiere of an Earplay commissioned work from Joan Huang; Along the River During the Qingming Festival (2011). Also, the US premiere of Strom (2010) by Germany’s Sven Daigger, the 2011 Earplay Aird Composers Competition winner. The evening will be completed by Morton Feldman’s Spring of Chosroes (1977) and Richard Felciano’s Lontano (1986).
