Er Bao, the middle-aged cook of a steamed stuffed bun shop was fired while his wife ran way with his children. After losing everything, Er Bao considered himself to be the unluckiest man on earth. Desperate enough to commit suicide, Er Bao found it impossible to kill himself. Thanks to a mysterious force that turns out to be a little fairy who called herself “The Eighth Fairy”. She promised to turn Er Bao into the happiest man on earth.
Er Bao, after experiencing as a martial art master, a millionaire, a super star, a beauty and an emperor, found out that the true happiness is what’s most ordinary and real in life. Fortunately, he uncovered the secret recipe of Chouji steamed stuffed bun in his adventures and had his wife and children back.
