Screening: Once Upon a Time in Tibet (CAFF 2011)
Pacific Asia Museum is honored to host a series of screenings as part of the annual Chinese American Film Festival.
Set at the beginning of World War II, an American pilot en route from India crashes in Tibet. The locals see the stranger's arrival as a bad omen, so Yongcho, the "cursed woman", is charged with the duty of taking care of him and sending him away after he recovers. (2010) Directed by Wei Dai. With English subtitles.
