Screening: Dali-Love at First Sight (CAFF 2011)
Pacific Asia Museum is honored to host a series of screenings as part of the annual Chinese American Film Festival.
Join us on November 1 at 6:30 for a light reception, followed by a 7 p.m. panel discussion with CAFF filmmakers and cast members, plus an 8pm screening of the award-winning documentary Dali-Love at First Sight.
About the film: The Dali region was praised by Marco Polo as "the magic land beyond the clouds, an idyllic hideaway where life approaches perfection." Located in China's southwestern Yunnan province, its blend of the modern with over five millennia of history and culture continues to create a fascinating destination today. (2011) Directed by Chris D. Nebe. In English.
