With the rise of emerging markets such as China and India, and with ever more M & A activity across all regions of the globe, business management is looking for new means to promote diversity within its global management ranks beyond traditional steps like increasing the number of women. How do we absorb and make use of the different cultures, languages, and values of the new global workforce? How do we support the promotion of diversity management in emerging markets and merge this new management with corporate growth strategy and innovation?

With these issues in mind, Asia Society and Japan Society are joining with Nikkei Business Publications, America, to present a seminar, "Reframing Diversity Management for a New Global Economy," at Asia Society. By examining several case studies from leading diversity management firms, we will explore the development and organization of new diversity management, as well as the role of human resources in defining new promotion methods. Highlights from this seminar will be featured in Japan's No. 1 business weekly, Nikkei Business, as an advertising feature on the above theme.
