With song, musical accompaniment, and sophisticated storytelling from the Fujian Province in Southern China, the marionette theater is known as a regional form of traditional Chinese opera. On October 16, a special pre-concert event with best-selling author of Falling Leaves, Adeline Yen Mah, reading her own work will begin at 7 p.m. Attending guests will receive a copy of her latest success, CHINA: A Land of Dragons and Emperors.
