USC hosts a talk given by Liu Yingsheng, chair of the National Society of Mongol-Yuan Studies.
Where
LIU Yingsheng is Professor of History and Director of the Institute of Asian Studies at Nanjing University. He is Chair of the Chinese National Society of Mongol-Yuan Studies and is one of the leading experts on the Yuan dynasty and the Mongol World Empire. He is particularly noted for his knowledge of Persian sources, and having also spent time in the U.S. and throughout Europe, is one of the very few scholars who can engage across cultural boundaries.
