Felix Boecking - Workshop
Dr. Felix Boecking will hold a workshop at Harvard University.
Felix Boecking is an An Wang Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fairbank Center, where he is completing a book manuscript on the interplay of international trade, consumption, and political nationalism in Republican China. Dr Boecking holds a permanent position as lecturer in modern Chinese economic and political history in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests focus on China’s political economy in its historical context, as well as material culture and consumption in twentieth-century China. Dr. Boecking received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2008 and his BA from Oxford in 2003.
