On September 29, 2024, the USC U.S.-China Institute hosted a workshop at the Huntington’s Chinese garden, offering K-12 educators hands-on insights into using the garden as a teaching tool. With expert presentations, a guided tour, and new resources, the event explored how Chinese gardens' rich history and cultural significance can be integrated into classrooms. The East Asian Studies Center invites you to join us twice a month from September through December for evening showings of contemporary selections of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cinema. Everything from classics to comedies will be shown in our new Korea Conference Room. Showings of the films are limited to the first 20 guests and will be accompanied by snacks.
