A talk and hands-on demonstration on the Art of Tea Tasting with Peter Luong, the owner of an elegant tea studio, Song Tea & Ceramics. This will be an introduction to tea sourcing, the basics of tea craftsmanship, growing regions, seasons, and various varieties in the context of tea quality. We will also sample teas from Song's 2016 collection.
Peter works directly with producers in China and Taiwan to source classic and rare teas as well as handmade ceramics and tea utensils. His collection also includes rare and experimental teas, and he works closely with the producers to ensure the best product.
