Stephen Verona on MAO to NOW
In 1980, while visiting China for a film shoot, Stephen Verona began to photograph urban life and the environment. Thirty-six years later, he returned to capture a vastly transformed country. In this opening-day gallery talk, Verona discusses his photo exhibition MAO to NOW as an exploration of the many changes that have occurred in China with the passage of time.
