Continuing Our Legacy
Rose Hills Memorial Park, in conjunction with World Journal LA, will host the event, "Continuing Our Legacy" on October 25, 2015. The event will officially introduce plans for a monument to honor Chinese immigrants affected by the Chinese Exclusion Act in 1882.
Where
There will be guest speakers throughout the event, a reception featuring a performance by Pacific Symphony, and opportunities for guests to enjoy kite painting/flying and picnicking on the lawn. Later in the evening, guests can enjoy a movie screening of “Ocean Heaven,” starring Jet Li, inside the iconic SkyRose Chapel.
