The Canadian Council for the Americas, in collaboration with the Inter-American Dialogue, will host a panel discussion of China's business and political strategy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Where
China is positioned to take over the EU as Latin America's second largest trading partner. The July visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping demonstrates a maturing relationship with the region that deepens and extends beyond commercial interests. The nature of China’s changing relationship with the region, and implications for Canadian investors, will be a key focus of this session.
