Jane Naomi Iwamura is Chair of the Religious Studies Department at the University of the West. She is author of Virtual Orientalism: Asian Religions and American Popular Culture (Oxford 2011) and the co-editor of Revealing the Sacred in Asian and Pacific America (Routledge 2003).
