Join acclaimed author Dean King as he discusses his latest book, Unbound: A True Story of War, Love and Survival. Unbound tells the story of the 30 women who participated in China’s Long March during the Communist Revolution.
As part of his extensive research in Chinese historical archives, Dean trekked the snowy mountains and high-altitude swamps of northwestern Sichuan – the deadliest section of the Long March, and interviewed the last surviving woman Long Marcher who trekked with Mao.
