The Chinese American Museum’s Annual Historymakers Awards Banquet represents the vision of pioneers, dedication of volunteers, and continuous community collaboration over the years since its inception in 1997. Prominently recognized as one of the premiere Chinese American events in Southern California, the Banquet honors the achievements of extraordinary individuals within the fields of art, literature, journalism, medicine, film, science, community, business, government, law and athletics, who have made significant impact or lasting contributions towards the advancement of the Chinese American community and beyond. In addition, the Banquet also serves as the major annual fundraiser for CAM, helping to raise critical funds to cover operational and program costs.

Each year, over 600 guests attend this elegant evening gala, including elected officials, community leaders, museum donors, patrons and supporters. A lively Silent Auction and cocktail hour traditionally opens up the event followed by a Western-style dinner. Become a part of CAM's history and join us at this year's event.
