Will Hong Kong continue to be a vital global business hub?
2014 U.S.-China Summit & Gala Dinner
The Asia Society Southern California's U.S.-China Film Summit is the premier U.S. event uniting Hollywood and Chinese film-industry leaders to discuss business collaboration and the latest market trends.
Established in 2010, the Film Summit has led the conversation about U.S.-Chinese film co-production and delivered high-quality speakers, spurring rapid expansion of the conference, drawing ever more senior executives and government officials and generating national media coverage.
This year’s full-day conference will draw on the Film Summit’s roots in U.S.-China co-production. We will also branch out from co-production during our panels to address other dynamics, including:
- Hollywood’s pursuit of Chinese screenwriters and directors
- New players in cross-border film finance and production
- New trends in U.S.-Chinese television co-production and show development
- The surge in media convergence and digital distribution in China
As in the past, the Gala Dinner will feature high-profile honorees and guests from China and the U.S.
