2007 Lotus Festival
Echo Park provides the setting for the annual Lotus Festival, famous for its lotus flowers, which have been blossoming each year since the 1920s. This year the festival highlights the people and cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands.

The opening ceremony includes live music, dance and entertainment from a variety of performers. A fabulous fireworks finale over Echo Park Lake brings the festival to a close on Sunday. Other highlights include displays of traditional arts and crafts, a health fair and an art show.
