During the past several years, the Shaolin Wushu Center has held an annual Chinese Martial Arts Festival in South Windsor, Connecticut, USA. As a change of venue, this year the Shaolin Wushu Center, L.A. will host an International Chinese Wushu Tournament on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Santa Monica High School gymnasium in Santa Monica, California, USA. We invite teams from all countries (and regions) to participate in this competition. We anticipate that this tournament will be a great gathering place to make new friends and renew old friendships, exchange skills, encourage teamwork, improve together, and further promote cultural exchange through our common bond of Chinese Wushu.

During the tournament weekend, activities will include traditional and contemporary wushu competition, wushu performance, the exchange of martial skills and cultural exchange.

A Masters' Wushu Demonstration will be featured prior to the tournament and a Traditional Chinese Banquet will immediately follow the tournament.

An optional trip to Disneyland is planned for that Sunday, May 30. Cost for the trip, including transportation and entrance fee is $80.

We warmly welcome all Chinese Martial Arts practitioners and friends involved in other fields from all countries and regions to come for the long weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather, beaches and wonderful food, and participate in the competition, banquet and trip to Disneyland.
