Di ‘Alu was in love with Mu Pa’s little sister Ji Ni. His grandpa, however, asked him to look after his widowed sister-in-law and his niece as the family code required. What’s bothering Di ‘Alu most is their family mascot—bear—is acting out destroying crops and killing livestock. Di ‘Alu, as the unit chief, had to execute the government’s code on environmental protection while travelling long distances over high mountains and deep waters to claim restitution for his fellow villagers. Ji Ni escaped and disappeared into thin air the morning of her wedding.
