On September 29, 2024, the USC U.S.-China Institute hosted a workshop at the Huntington’s Chinese garden, offering K-12 educators hands-on insights into using the garden as a teaching tool. With expert presentations, a guided tour, and new resources, the event explored how Chinese gardens' rich history and cultural significance can be integrated into classrooms. USC Global Fellows heading to Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei
The USC Global Fellows Internship Program encourages exploration of international work experience in Asia.
The Program is open to U.S. citizens of all majors and it provides stipends for USC undergraduates (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors graduating in December) to live and work in Asia for eight weeks during the summer.
The USC Global Fellows Internship Program strives to strengthen the bonds of understanding between the United States and other countries. In the past ten years, students who have participated in the program have interned in Aichi, Bangkok, Beijing, Japan, Hanoi, Hiroshima, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Manila, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Taiwan, and Tokyo among others.
