Join us for a free one-day workshop for educators at the Japanese American National Museum, hosted by the USC U.S.-China Institute and the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia. This workshop will include a guided tour of the beloved exhibition Common Ground: The Heart of Community, slated to close permanently in January 2025. Following the tour, learn strategies for engaging students in the primary source artifacts, images, and documents found in JANM’s vast collection and discover classroom-ready resources to support teaching and learning about the Japanese American experience.

The USC Global Fellows Internship Program encourages exploration of international work experience in Asia.
The Program is open to U.S. citizens of all majors and it provides stipends for USC undergraduates (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors graduating in December) to live and work in Asia for eight weeks during the summer.
The USC Global Fellows Internship Program strives to strengthen the bonds of understanding between the United States and other countries. In the past ten years, students who have participated in the program have interned in Aichi, Bangkok, Beijing, Japan, Hanoi, Hiroshima, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Manila, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Taiwan, and Tokyo among others.
