Set in the heart of Sài Gòn, this tender young adult novel follows Lan, a devoted daughter concealing her passion for food blogging, and Vivi, a Vietnamese American student searching for her family’s past. Perfect for educators, this session will explore how the novel’s themes of identity, intergenerational memory, and belonging can spark meaningful classroom conversations about Vietnamese culture, diaspora, and the role of food as a cultural bridge.
