Joshua Kurtzig

CEO of Valir Health

Joshua Kurtzig is the CEO of Valir Health, a value-based care platform focused on serving the aging population through integrated care models including PACE and hospice. He has more than 15 years of experience building and operating healthcare organizations across the United States and Asia, including serving as president of hospitals in China, Mongolia, and the United States. While in China, Mr. Kurtzig developed a national postpartum care service, designed hospital-sponsored insurance products, and founded a home health business—work that has shaped his focus on scalable care delivery models for aging populations. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance, banking, and private equity. Mr. Kurtzig is a frequent speaker on healthcare systems and aging policy and regularly presents in Mandarin Chinese. He holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business, as well as degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Virginia. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and French.
