Jianxiong Ge is a senior Professor of the Institute of Chinese Historical Geography at Fudan University, specializing in Chinese history, population and migration history, and cultural history. He is also the author of "Population History of China," "History of Migration in China," "Unification and Separation: Perspective of Chinese History," "Changes of Territories of Ancient China," and other academic works.
