China allows U.S. Kitty Hawk to dock in Hong Kong, 2007

China said Thursday it has decided to allow the U.S. aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk to dock in Hong Kongfor rest during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said at a regular press conference that China has reported its decision to the United States and such a decision is made on humanitarian considerations.
