Wang Huaiqing, A Modern Chinese Artist

Image

Josh Yiu, Foster Foundation Associate Curator of Chinese Art, will explore the development of the artist (born 1944), whose paintings successfully distill conventional objects into essential forms, thereby blurring the differences between abstraction and naturalism.

Following this lecture, the Volunteer Association will host their annual holiday Tea for the attendees.

Admission is free to members and adults over the age of 62 on the first Friday of every month. For other visitors, this lecture is included with museum admission.
