In this two-day workshop, to be held April 30th to May 1st in Glenview, IL, teachers will learn the basics of sijo, a Korean poetic form that flourished during the Joseon dynasty and is still written today. The workshop will include expert lectures on the history of sijo/related Korean literary forms, sijo composition practice, performances, and a session on classroom implementation.
