SF Stories

SF STORIES is an independent feature film about the lives and adventures of marginalized men and women, some might call them “losers”, living in San Francisco. Their story is told through a series of nine short films that shift focus among various supporting characters while presenting the developing relationship of the two lead characters throughout.

Major Characters

MICHAEL (male, 33, lead) - A third generation Chinese-American with a misguided obsession for Asian culture and a fetish for Asian women.

WENDY (female, 25, lead) – A frumpy Japanese-American woman. Both quiet and bold, she is secretly fearful of the world.

BRAD (male, 40) – Michael’s best friend since high school. Brad lives in his parents’ basement and desperately clings to his fading dream of becoming a heavy metal rock star.

LUK (male, 28) - A recent immigrant from Mainland China. He delivers Chinese food for the Chow King Express restaurant.

DEREK (male, 36) - Wendy’s Caucasian ex–boyfriend.
